Johnny Cash nahm mehr als 1.500 Lieder auf, die auf ca. 500 Alben zu finden sind; alleine nur in Amerika und Europa gezählt. Die meisten seiner Alben (45) sind bis zum heutigen Tage erhältlich. Das sind mehr als bei jedem anderen Künstler.

Er ist der Jüngste überhaupt, der für die "Country Music Hall of Fame" ausgewählt wurde und war bis 1998 der Einzigste, der je für die "Country and Rock Music Hall of Fame" nominiert wurde - bis 1998 Elvis Presley hinzukam.

Die Rückseite schmückt ein prächtiges schwarzweiß Motiv, auf der Vorderseite findet sich der Schriftzug "Johnny Cash"
und darunter ein Auszug aus "Man in BLack":
