Hellabama Honky-Tonks - like a roarin postcard from the Swamps!
Influenced by the likes of Hank Williams, Stray Cats, Carl Perkins, as well as the Ramones, Guns'n Roses and Social Distortion develop the Hellabama Honky- Tonks their very own brand of Rock'n`Roll, a fan of the band at some point with the
words "High Octane Hillbilly Rock'n`Roll" circumscribed. That means for the sound of Goldi Grasshopper, Bang Boom Ben and Mr. Max Mambo: What magic guitar, bass and drums as reminiscent of a heavy V8 engine - sometimes fast, sometimes dirty, sometimes loud - but always with a lot sense of groove and melody.
Even simple: Goldi Grass Hopper, Max Mambo and Bam Boom Ben come from the South, but not from the southern United States, but directly from the swamps of Lower Bavaria - with tattoos instead of costume jewelry and jeans and boots instead of leather trousers and brogues - and with a neat package Rock'n`Roll in the luggage! Rock'n`Roll by Hellabama Honky-Tonks, this is a rough mix of Rockabilly, Country and a quick shot of swing that drives the adrenaline to where it belongs, right
in the soul of the Greasers, as a good Rock'n'Roll should be.
About the musicians must be said that: The Rock`n`Roll band`s professor, Goldi, is responsible for the songwriting. To this end, he warps often in dark bars, where he ot only tries to get through bar-gossip inspiration for his songs, but to hide the traces of the aging process before the public. Because he is a very well-read guy, although one often encounters but not always in bars, he is seen frequently with a book in his hand to the local lakes, where he was, puffing a cigarette, dreaming on his Rock n Roll Iceland, then wake up to a regular sunburn again.
Bang Boom Ben is the Cookie Monster of the band, go to the expense of simply the most of the jokes of colleagues. Doesn´t he exactly a thrashing on his bass, Ben likes to care meat loaf cakes and beer. This keeps him, however, not prevent them from performing at the T-shirt to reveal what will inevitably lead to fainting in female parts of the public. His jokes are legendary, but he messed up regularly for a writing time of 30 minutes, the punch line. But what would a guitar and a bass player without the driving force behind the drums? And this is precisely where Mr. Max Mambo, the sunshine of the band comes into the game: His job is also in the fact his beloved tour bus to transport passengers from A to B together and drive the fan quote in the female parts of the population to astronomical heights. These tasks, it has grown brilliantly. His tattooed arms are muscular build a bit thin, but he handled the drums like a bear.
