"ROCKET OVERDRIVE" is the name of a new young Rockabilly combo around the very talented
front man, singer, guitar player and songwriter Chris Bergström (aka Chris Rocket)!
The band, founded in Sweden in 2009, herewith presents its debut album called "Not You"
with 14 songs, all self penned by Chris (with the exception of the Buddy Holly version
from "It`s So Easy“). Musically the three guys, all about 20 years old,
are playing a very modern style of Rockabilly, mixed with Pop /Punk influences.

Therefore some of their songs are reminding classic 50`s artists like
Gene Vincent & The Blue Caps, Johnny Burnette and Buddy Holly, other tracks
sound like modern bands such as Green Day or Social Distortion!

A few weeks ago the combo also signed an official sponsoring contraxt with the
famous clothing brand "Fred Perry"!
