With this album Crazy Chris Björgman with his in hell speed played drums gives his debut and completes the pounding bass of Lars Boogie Man Wermlund, the phenomenally played lead guitar of Kim Little Joe Amberg and the unmistakable lead vocals of Stefan Steve Riot” Jägrmayr to a devilishly good sound from, as it was never been there. At least now it does not hold more elk in the forest and no more chicken on the rack. Three of the four members have their home here, lead singer and rhythm guitarist Stefan Steve Riot Jägrmayer, lead guitarist Kim Little Joe Amberg and bassist Lars Boogie Man Wermlund. Drummer Crazy Chris Björgman lives near Stockholm. The idea for the band with the unusual name was born in the spring of 2007 by Stefan and Lars. Both were previously members of the Swedish band Snakebite And The Dreadnoughts. The next drummer David Sundquist, who left his previous, conventional Swedish rockabilly band The Hail Stones for Wild Rooster, was brought on board. Now a good lead guitarist was needed to conjure up exactly to the driving Rock'n' Roll sound that wanted the three boys. It took quite a while, to find the talented young man named Kim Amberg, who should access the strings for Wild Rooster. Only a short time later, the Swedish record company Old-Rock Records took notice of the young band. The first album Riot with mainly compositions of Stefan Jägrmayer came a few months later, in March 2008 and sold so well that Old Rock Records asked a little later for a second album. Stefan fortunately had a few ideas for new songs that could be then be placed immediately and the album Rockabilly Inferno released in July 2008. Until 2009 Wild Rooster played on all major concerts in Sweden and were already booked for a few gigs in Europe, as their music found its way across the pond to the USA. The record company 272 Records released a compilation on which the Wild Rooster-Song: Long Black Train is to find. After the third own album Little Angel, David Sundquist left the band. Roger Kristiansen from Rebels Revenge made a great job on drums for one year. Fortunately the three remaining original Roosters met a little later the drummer Christian Björkman, who has already played with some of the best Swedish musicians. Despite the relatively large distance from the residences, Chris is Wild Rooster`s new drummer and makes their sound better than ever, to what it should be from the beginning: devilishly good!
