Auf 'Bop Potion Nr.5' kommt der bewährte Rockabilly-Sound, der sich stark am Spirit der frühen SUN STUDIO-Aufnahmen der 50's orientiert, so lässig und auf den Punkt gespielt wie nie zuvor. Sexy groovender, aber immer minimalistischer Rockabilly-Sound, gepaart mit dezent eingestreuten roughen Country-Zitaten, die an JOHNNY CASH's Tennessee Three-Besetzung erinnern.
'Bop Potion No. 5' ist ein authentisches Topalbum geworden.

The Texabilly Rockers bring back the swing and rockin' sound of the late 40's to the early 50's.The rockabilly is influenced by the western swing. It is a simple music with a simple conception due to it's rhythm and cheerful melody.
It gets easily the public attention. The Texabilly Rockers started in 1993. They play original themes but also some classics of the 50s as well as songs of more recent Rockabilly artists.
In 1997 they started performing outside their home country of Portugal, taking part in different events. In April/May of 1998 they toured Spain and France for the first time. In 1999 they were invited to play a tour taking them all over Europe, which took in Spain, France, Great Britain and Germany during May and June 2000. This, their third album dates from early 2002.
