George James Cox established his footwear company in 1906, in Northamptonshire - the tradition home of England's finest shoemakers. Having first produced brothel creepers in the 50s and winkle pickers in the 60s, the company gained notoriety in the 70s when these looks were resurrected by Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren to become the uniform of a generation of punks. The unrivalled variety of shapes and patterns, continual productdevelopment and outstanding creativity have helped the brand gain a niche global position.

This pair of shoes is an excellent shoe style - made in England from an early to mid 50's American pattern. This shoes are made of excellent quality in black and white leather with a leather welt with light stitching and a black Goodyear welted EVA cushion crepe sole which is lightweight but hard wearing. The top of the shoes is punched with an awesome sunburst design.

Be prepared for a new kind of rockin' handmade shoes!
